What is your wedding day process?
I love being by your side to help you before your wedding day. I'll send you a guide to help you organize your day, the best moments for the couple photos, the different lights... and it's really exciting for me to receive photos of your dress, shoes, invites, etc... On your wedding day, all I want to capture is the feelings, the mood, the emotions, the calm and crazy moments and all the details that make your wedding unique. Pre-planning and open communication will help make your day run as smooth as possible.
How do you photograph weddings?
Typically it's just me as a solo photographer and I adhere to the schedule either you or your wedding planner has mapped out. I focus on the bride and groom mainly throughout the day and candids only during the reception. If there is a background for guests, its usually self run. If not, an additional photographer will needed to be added on for an additional fee.
What if we go off schedule?
I'm a schedule girly so I like to make sure I'm abiding by your schedule with flexibility because of course things happen. The only thing that HAS to be done are the bride and groom portraits usually directly after the ceremony. This is a private session with JUST the bride and groom with the exception of the makeup artist and/or seamstress for touch ups.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I am based in Richmond, VA and yes I love to travel! However it will require a travel fee. But no worries, I always try to find the best way to travel because I love love and displaying your love story will make us BOTH happy.
When will we get our photos?
You will receive an online gallery link with your photos within 6 to 8 weeks after your ceremony (sometimes less depending on the season I photograph your story). You can download all the photos from the gallery but also share them, choose your favorites, and order keepsakes right at your fingertips! Double the package you chose to determine any extra keepsakes you may want like a parent album that you can add on for your parents.
How many pictures will we receive?
Every wedding package, will receive between 150 to 500 fully edited images. I always choose quality rather than quantity and that's why I will choose the best and most significant photos to tell your story. Don't worry you will have plenty choose from!
